It installs behind the factory trim panels, and a supplied kit converts the factory pocket into a sturdy, cloth-covered steel mesh grille that protects the woofer from loose cargo. Behind this grille lurks the awesome power of a 10-inch subwoofer capable of handling up to 300 W of continuous power.

The Hard Data: Contains one 10W1v2-4 in a sealed enclosure. 300 watt power handling. Wired for 4 ohm mono. Fits both 2 and 4 door versions of these SUV's. Installs inside passenger side cargo area trim panel. Fabric covered, steel mesh grille included. Stealthbox® installs with absolutely no loss of cargo space! For '01-'03 Explorers equipped with a speaker grille in this location, you must purchase a replacement pocket frame from Ford parts to install the Stealthbox® grille. Will not fit Explorer SportTrac.
